KMD/Pfau tapped for S.F. cruise ship terminal

The San Francisco Department of Public Works has selected KMD Architects and Prau Long Architecture to design the Port of San Francisco’s $86.5 million cruise ship terminal on Pier 27. The two San Francisco-based architecture firms beat out a group of heavyweight finalists including Skidmore Owings Merrill, Perkins + Will, and Mark Cavagnaro Architects.
