Pacific Presbyterian Professional Building
San Francisco, California
This Medical Practice facility responds to the scale and architecture of Pacific Heights, a dense residential community with many homes and buildings built before the 1906 earthquake. The large plates of 25,000 to 35,000 SF have accommodated the changes and amalgamations among physician practices and auxiliary diagnostic services over the past fifteen years. 180 physicians of the Brown-Toland Group, among others, now occupy the building originally planned for the 130 physician partners/owners of the building. This Project includes four levels of below-grade parking employing a concept of tandem parking to increase the number of parking spaces per level by 20%.
