CHA Women's & Children's Hospital

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA KMD was the Design Architect for this new 130-bed Women’s and Children’s Center, which opened in June 2006, introducing to Korea U.S.patient and family centered concepts such as LDRs and parents allowed within the NICU. The program also encompasses retail spaces, a bank, garden areas, and a 135-stall parking garage. The 165,000 SF hospital is distributed within five stories above grade for patient beds and clinic, and five stories below grade for surgery, labor/delivery support services and parking.
