DAEGU, KOREA  As the Design Competition winner KMD provided design services for the new Keimyung University Hospital Campus to augment the older hospital campus within the City Center. This 1.2 million SF, 1,000-bed hospital is a much needed addition to the already busy medical Campus. Keimyung University (KMU) is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea and is composed of three campuses in the city of Daegu, South Korea. Keimyung University Medical Center consists of a Medical School rated as one of the best institutes of medical education in Korea, a Nursing School with 100% passing on national examination and employment of the graduates, Dongsan Hospital, and Gyeongju Dongsan Hospital.
